“About it”
This aged clay blue-and-white jar cup draws inspiration from Zhou Dunyi's "Love of the Lotus", blending Song Dynasty literati ethos with classic blue-white aesthetics. The 130ml jar shape concentrates aroma, while aged clay body enhances tea flavor. Hand-painted lotus motifs symbolize "rising unstained from mud", offering refined scholarly elegance and spiritual purity in modern life, transforming tea drinking into soul-cleansing cultivation.
Material & Craft:
Body uses aged clay fired at 1280°C in reduction flame creating beige texture, with blue-white patterns hand-painted using mineral cobalt showing five-tone gradients. Lotus composition references Ming Chenghua blue-white arrangements, calligraphy inherits Yuan Dynasty brushwork. Technique restores Qing Tang Kiln traditional methods, each lotus petal receives triple-layer painting, recreating classic "ink five-tones, blue five-colors" artistry.

Ode to the Lotus Flower
⭐integrity ⭐purity ⭐transcendence
"Ode to the Lotus Flower" is a timeless essay by Zhou Dunyi of the Song Dynasty, praising the lotus flower for "rising unstained from mud" as a symbol of integrity and purity. The lotus represents clarity and transcendence, maintaining inner peace amidst chaos; while the koi embodies courage, perseverance, and good fortune, known in Chinese culture as "living gems" that swim against currents and overcome obstacles. Together, lotus and koi convey the beautiful message of "noble character and a bright future"—encouraging us to stay true to ourselves like the lotus, and move forward with the determination of the koi.

Care & Maintenance
⭐Avoid Thermal Shock:
To ensure longevity, never expose the hot cup to cold water directly or pour boiling water into a cold cup. Pre-warming with warm water is recommended.
⭐Daily Cleaning:
Rinse promptly after use with water and a soft cloth. The smooth glaze is easy to clean. Avoid abrasive cleaners to protect the glaze and hand-painted design.
⭐Cultivation & Care (Crackle Patina):
Crafted in the spirit of Ru ware, the fine "crackle" lines in the glaze may gradually darken with repeated use as tea seeps in, a process known as "cultivating the cup." This creates a unique, web-like pattern ("Golden Threads and Iron Wires") that tells the story of your tea journey, making it uniquely yours. Simply keep it clean and dry.
Quality Commitment
Certified by international food contact material tests, glazes meet heavy metal dissolution standards. Each piece undergoes three quality checks ensuring even glaze and precise form. We believe this tea ware blending traditional craft with modern aesthetics will become a poetic presence on your tea table, elevating daily tea drinking into soul-touching artistic moments.
