This peach-yellow Ru kiln dragon egg cup, blending Song Dynasty aesthetics with modern design, is crafted for contemporary tea enthusiasts. The 70ml capacity is ideal for both solo meditation and sharing with friends. The jade-like glaze fits perfectly in your palm, while the gradually developed golden crackles chronicle the passage of time. It's not just a tea vessel but a companion for finding inner peace amidst busy life, delivering emotional value of Zen healing and self-reflection.

Material & Craft

Using natural mineral clay and traditional agate-infused glaze recipe, fired at 1300°C in reduction atmosphere to achieve jade-like opalescent texture. Each piece showcases the unique "Golden Threads and Iron Lines" crackle effect – natural cracks formed in the glaze during cooling create interlaced golden and dark brown patterns. Over time, tea seeped into these cracks deepens their color, making the lines more vivid. These intentional cracks, carefully controlled by artisans, enhance the cup’s artistic value. The durable glaze ensures both practicality and beauty, while daily use helps develop your unique crackle patterns.

Care & Maintenance

Avoid Thermal Shock:
To ensure longevity, never expose the hot cup to cold water directly or pour boiling water into a cold cup. Pre-warming with warm water is recommended.

Daily Cleaning:
Rinse promptly after use with water and a soft cloth. The smooth glaze is easy to clean. Avoid abrasive cleaners to protect the glaze and hand-painted design.

Cultivation & Care (Crackle Patina):
Crafted in the spirit of Ru ware, the fine "crackle" lines in the glaze may gradually darken with repeated use as tea seeps in, a process known as "cultivating the cup." This creates a unique, web-like pattern ("Golden Threads and Iron Wires") that tells the story of your tea journey, making it uniquely yours. Simply keep it clean and dry.

Quality Commitment

Certified food-grade safe using natural, pollution-free materials. Adhering to traditional ceramic techniques, each piece's crackle development and glaze variation are artistic creations of kiln fire and time. We believe that through careful cultivation, this tea vessel will gradually reveal unique vitality, becoming your faithful companion in tea practice.
